We like: the lavish breakfast menu, the comfortable beds, the period decor, and the feeling of generally being looked after in a laid-back way. And we staid there because we'd done so before and were well satisfied.
The only minus point: ancient and very noisy plumbing - but it is a very old building!

The best hotel we have stayed in our entire trip. I really like the old building with high ceiling, and the room designed as 20's . It is also inexpensive and provides nice breakfast.
check in time is before 10pm and check out time is after 8am. We was not aware of it and had to catch train before 8 am.

Good breakfast and the room is clean and cute.
The location is little bit far away from the train station. You should use the bus if you want to go near the hotel.

Very good location. 150 m from central part of Kudamm, 25 minutes on foot from the Zoo, 10 minutes on foot from one of the central S-bahn station Savigny-platz, many restraunts, cafes and shops around it. Large triple room.
Very little and uncomfortable bathroom and unstable wi-fi.

Very quiet and private. Old fashioned but large rooms. Very small number of rooms. Very good breakfast.
So small that there was no lounge or other relaxing area.

Goed clean and quite rooms. Friendly staff. All rooms are different! Central location close to U and S-bahn. Goed restaurants close to the hotel/Pension.
We where surprised to find the hotel (or better Pension) on the 1st Floor of a City-building. Entrance of this building needs some refreshment. Bathroom clean and goed equiped but a bit smal.

This hotel is a real value for money. Really nice restorated rooms in a beautiful old villa. Breakfast was good and people helpful.

The localization was excellent on a very good neighborhood, very nice, quiet and pleasant hotel, the breakfast was very good. I would stay there again. The employees were very nice and always available.
The bathroom was small and like in almost places in the city, it doesn't have air conditioned.

We were so well looked after and almost spoilt by the staff. Lovely old-fashioned environment which suits the building it's housed in. Spacious room, big comfy bed, good breakfast. Would definitely use them again!
The plumbing is a bit noisy but then it's a very old building.

Small, centrally located hotel upstairs in a typical old Charlottenburg building. Not at all luxurious but with lots of charming touches, including a rather nice breakfast.
The entrance and staircase to the hotel on the first floor was badly in need of redecoration. The staff's command of English was limited.

The rooms were lovely with an antique/vintage feel. Very clean overall, staff gave us new towels everyday and made our bed. Breakfast and WiFi were included which was great!
The only thing that bothered me a little bit is that the staff had very poor english, some staff didn't speak any at all.

Unique room that met my needs
No one to assist with bringing up luggage up the flight of stairs to the rooms. More frequent linen changing

The hotel/pension is located in a nice neighborhood, within walking distance of two metro stations and several buses. The price is moderate, but so are the facilities. One member of the hotel staff in particular went out of his way to help us. If you're looking for basic accommodations at a good price, you should consider this place that apparently caters mostly to Germans.
